Heart Soothing Tea

This calming tea blend with a base of holy basil combines rose, jasmine, cardamom, and star anise to uplift and soothe the heart + elevate the spirit. It’s the perfect alchemy of herbs to transition to spring with ease.


Recipe

2 cups of Holy Basil

1/2 cup of dried Roses

2 tbsps Jasmine Flowers

1 tbsp Cardamom Pods

5-6 Star Anise


Method

Combine all of the ingredients into a mason jar, shake & store for future use.

To make, use 1-2 tsp of the blend with 8oz of boiling water - steep for 5-10 mins & enjoy!

Holy Basil (Tulsi) (benefits + uses)

The "queen of herbs", also known as Holy Basil. This Indian sourced herb is used in Ayurveda as an adaptogen to balance stress in the central nervous system, regulate blood sugars, and support the immune system. A delicious tea or infusion on it’s own!

Uses: As an adaptogen (anti-stress agent), a natural remedy for anxiety, acne, blood sugar regulation, and supporting the adrenal glands.

Rose (benefits + uses)

Rose is high in vitamin C and minerals, plus a potent dose of Vit A known for healing and promoting skin health. It also boosts the immune system, opens the heart & beautifies the spirit.

Uses: A tea that consists of dried rose petals can be sipped on before bed to help regulate sleep by regulating hormonal activity, reducing inflammation and easing stress. It can rebalance the gut flora, and relieve bloating and fluid retention.


Jasmine (benefits + uses)

Used for centuries across the world, jasmine has been added to green, black and white teas to add a floral flavor. Jasmine holds high antioxidant properties, boosts the immune system, protects the heart and helps to relieve stress. Jasmine blossoms on their own contain no caffeine.

Uses: Dried Jasmine is often used to calm and soothe the mind + spirit. It’s a powerful ally for regulating nervous tension, helps to regulate blood sugar, and acts as an anti-aging remedy.


Cardamom (benefits + uses)
